How Giveback works
Two simple rituals
Charity chosen by the community. Prizes as a thank-you for being part of Oddjobs - not related to Marketplace commissions.

A share of designated Giveback funds goes to the community’s pick. Exact amounts stay private - you choose who benefits.
3. Monthly prize draws
Tradies can win €100.00 · Customers can win €100.00 - drawn at random from active accounts (real platform use, not silent sign-ups) and announced monthly.
Oddjobs Giveback is our community fund for Portugal. Every quarter, registered members vote for local Portuguese charities. We donate a share of designated Giveback funds to that charity - amounts stay private; the community chooses who benefits. Each month we also run thank-you prize draws for tradies and for customers - picked at random from members who actually use the platform, then announced on the site.

Prize draws
Two separate draws every month - one for tradies, one for customers. Picked at random from active accounts only (silent sign-ups are not entered). Amounts set by Oddjobs.
Tradie draw
€100.00 each month · random tradie who has submitted at least one estimate. Register-only service accounts are not entered.
Customer draw
€100.00 each month · random customer (or charity shop) who has listed or shown buy-interest on Marketplace, and/or posted a trade job. Silent accounts are not entered.
What counts as active: Active means real platform use in your pool - not a silent account. Customers / charity shops: list or buy-interest on Marketplace, or post a trade job. Tradies / service accounts: submit at least one estimate. Register-only accounts are not in the draw.
Winners will appear here once monthly draws are announced.
One vote per registered account per quarter. Monthly prize draws: auto-entered only if the account is genuinely active - not silent sign-ups. Customers (and charity shops): you need real Marketplace use (listed an item and/or expressed interest as a buyer) and/or a posted trade job. Service / tradie accounts: at least one estimate (quote) submitted. Signing up or logging in alone does not enter you. One win per pool per month. Prizes are goodwill thank-yous, not related to Marketplace sales commissions. Donation amounts and percentages are not published. Charity options are specific to this Oddjobs market (Portugal).
